Omega Wave Machine

A lot of you ask us about getting fitness back into your lives. Autoimmune disease can make it super challenging, sometimes just keeping up with life feels like a workout. My friend @alex.margolin owns Sun Valley Fitness and has an @omegawave machine. This morning he hooked me up to the machine and 4 minutes later I had an amazing read out. It’s a super effective way to see where your health and fitness is at and a valuable tool for your trainer/coach to know what exactly your body can handle. I was super excited to see my reading as it was another confirmation of my solid health and level of fitness. All good things concerning the Omega Wave. Frequency Specific Microcurrent

Wrapped up our family vacation with some #fsm Frequency specific Microcurrent. The possibilities are endless with what you can treat. Our friend @alex.margolin was kind enough to hook me up to his three machines and focus in on the things he felt would do the most good for me. I spent a few hours before dinner focusing on spine health, histamines, liver detoxing and a few other frequencies. Then before bed I was hooked up to hit EBV – because you all know my battle to completely eradicate that from my system. #igotthis Long story short I felt the fsm doing its work during both sessions and I feel even more amazing today. Honestly considering taking the training course for fsm and seeing what good I can put into the world with it! AIP: Salmon Dinner for a Night in

Date night in! After a long and wonderful day it’s fun to whip up something fast and delicious 😋 I rubbed some organic lime juice on the salmon then sprinkled dill on it. Baked it for 14 minutes at 350 degrees. Heated up the food prepped butternut squash from a few days ago. Put some filtered water in a pan and cooked up organic baby kale. For some good fat I placed a bit of avocado 🥑 on the salmon. Clean, delicious, AIP, and so satisfying! Detoxing heavy metals

So much information is swirling around the effects of heavy metals and toxins in the body and how they affect our health and in some cases inhibit us from getting well.  Examples of heavy metals include mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), arsenic (As), chromium (Cr), thallium (Tl), and lead (Pb).  Although it’s not a heavy metal, aluminum should be included in this list.

In any given day we are exposed to toxins in our environment – second hand smoke, cleaning products, smoke from fires, vehicle emissions,  etc.  There’s also the consideration that most of us whom have tooth fillings have mercury in our mouths and of course the vaccine controversies.  Let’s not forget our foods – fish, wheat, soda, baked goods, processed foods, canned food, chocolates, to name a few.

We are surrounded by toxins and eating toxins and heavy metals every day.  So what do we do about it?  How can we strip our bodies of toxins and heavy metals?

Take a deep breath, and start considering adding a few of the following to your daily routine:

Selenium, (found naturally in fish and accessible in pill form) is a great way to strip the body of heavy metals.

16 ounces of water in the morning with organic lemon juice is an amazing way to detox your body naturally.

Activated charcoal at night before bed helps strip the body of toxins.  I use Bulletproof Coconut Charcoal.

Coffee enemas – although they are less than pleasant, they’re better than feeling “off” all the time. Give your colon a reset once in a while 🙂

Milk Thistle cleanses your liver (if you drink alcohol, you should always take this before bed to detox the liver).

Up your vitamin C intake.

Strive to eat 1/2 a cup of fresh herbs daily  – I love sprinkling cilantro and parsley on all my food!

Raw Garlic – a few cloves a day, and it keeps the vampires at bay… 😉

Probiotics – consider SPORE based probiotics!

Chlorella – acts as a natural chelation therapy option, pulling heavy metals out of the body.

Replace household cleaning agents with natural, chemical free ones.

Replace shampoo/conditioner, face products, cosmetics, hair products, lotions, etc. with clean alternatives ALWAYS making sure they are gluten free as well.  Unless a vitamin E is labeled otherwise, it is made from wheat germ – so pay attention to that and Tocopherol, Tocopheryl acetate – they are hidden gluten factors in MANY things.

Hoping this sheds some light on the situation.  When you’re battling toxins and heavy metals, it can slow your healing and sometimes prevent it all together.  Work a little more each day to feel your very best!



What’s with Wheat?

“What’s With Wheat,” is in my opinion, one of the most important documentaries you can watch regarding nutrition, and information on food and health in general.  There is so much misinformation out there, and for those of us battling diagnosed autoimmune diseases, these facts are crucial to our healing.

Here’s a link to Youtube so you can view this informative documentary.  Most of the information in here I already knew from years of learning from some of the brightest nutritionists and naturopaths.  There were still things in here that I didn’t know and that blew me away.
