What is this wizardry? @pratherranchmeatco roast, organic Brussels spouts fried up in coconut oil and no, it’s not mashed potatoes 🥔 it’s mashed turnips made with a touch of pure coconut cream and some sea salt. My only regret is that I didn’t have room for seconds 😉 Date night in – and next is some sparkling water served up in wine glasses, because we’re fancy like that😉 😂 and one last thank you to @target for the super cute Halloween table cloth 👻 🎃
Sometimes the best date nights are spent at home with the cleanest, and most delicious food to enjoy!!
Hi AIP Community! Happy Friday! This week I’ve really tried to mix things up with my workouts because my stomach and energy are not 100%…perhaps the 10 weeks of constant running around over summer has caught up? My system is OFF and I’m feeling lousy, but I need to keep moving. SO no, I’m not pregnant, I’m inflamed – what a GREAT T-shirt idea, huh? copyright Coach Lori 🙂
So this week I did the WOD (workout of the day) at my gym, Tuesday, we went for a hike and that was my workout. Wednesday I did the WOD at my gym, and Thursday I walked a few miles then did a 3×8 overhead squat at 105# and decided I was DONE. So below is my Friday workout, that I wrote for all of YOU! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
“What’s With Wheat,” is in my opinion, one of the most important documentaries you can watch regarding nutrition, and information on food and health in general. There is so much misinformation out there, and for those of us battling diagnosed autoimmune diseases, these facts are crucial to our healing.
Here’s a link to Youtube so you can view this informative documentary. Most of the information in here I already knew from years of learning from some of the brightest nutritionists and naturopaths. There were still things in here that I didn’t know and that blew me away.
I encourage you to take the time to watch this. You can also get this on netflix if you’d prefer to watch it on your tv.
Hello Friends, the message is simple, take it back to basics and walk a bit. Up and down a hallway, around the house, around the neighborhood, at a park, on the beach, at the mall–don’t worry about distance, set a goal to walk for time. Breathe deeply and enjoy!

Here’s our post from IG. Each week we highlight one of 100 Autoimmune diseases. Today I stepped back for a moment and made some observations – so obvious in retrospect, but things come to us at certain times, so we take it as it comes – here’s what I wrote:
There are 100 autoimmune diseases and of all the ones I’ve been researching there is one common thread – inflammation. And if there’s one thing I can share with you from my own experience and countless other people I’ve helped with the Autoimmune Protocol, cutting out the foods and toxins that cause inflammation gives you your health back. Is it difficult cutting out all the foods you’ve spent your life eating? Absolutely. Is it easy living day in and day out feeling like sh*t? Absolutely not. So take that leap of faith and dedicate the next 90+ days going 💯 AIP. There are no cheat days because that’s only cheating your health and halting progress. Kat and I are here for You. We love this, we heal from this and there’s no reason why you won’t heal too. Community and support makes all things possible. We’re so thank you that You are a part of our AIP Community ❤️ #lupus #aipcommunity #aipworkouts#AIPworks #aipforhealth #glutenfree #inflammation #starttoday #bewell#wearehereforyou
It is our SINCERE hope that through the information and experiences we share with all of you through our website, IG, Twitter, FB and Pintrest accounts that we touch lives and HELP others. It was a lonely journey for us when we got started, so we hope that having a community of supporters and friends gets you to better health.
Happy Friday, friends! Do a little something to get active today. Listen to your body, check out the 3 levels, and workout according to YOUR needs. Pay attention to your form and make sure you’re doing it correctly 🙂
