AIP: 2 Dinner Recipes: Turkey & Beef

Two AIP Dinners in under 20 mins 🙌🏼Tonight… well, every night is about saving time & money. While dinner was cooking, I decided to set up the crockpot for tomorrow night! Bonus: Both dinners were less than $5 a person and served 4.

Dinner 1 
1 lb. ground organic grass fed beef
1/2 purple cabbage
1/2 cup carrots
2 zucchinis 1 grated, one chopped
1/2 onion
Spices: sea salt, turmeric,
garlic powder, and Italian seasoning
Dinner 2 
Organic Turkey Breast
1 purple onion chopped
1 sweet potato chopped
1/2 purple cabbage
1/2 cup chicken broth
Spices: sea salt, turmeric,
garlic powder, and Italian seasoning

Fall is here, and so is bone broth

It’s fall and a batch of homemade beef & lamb bone broth sounded like a great idea! The house smells amazing and I’m enjoying it immensely. I added in some organic carrots, onion, garlic, celery and Italian herbs and the flavor is out of this world. This stuff feeds my soul as well as nourishes my body. I let this cook for 20 hours on Low in the crockpot and added in 1 sheet of Kombu to help pull nutrients out of the bones.  It took less than 3 minutes to prep!
